Put your business where agents look.
Two promises, and the second needs no network at all: agents searching for what you sell find you, and the customers you already have get your product working inside their AI agents.
Getting found
All three are free, and stay free. We generate everything from what your site already says, host it, keep it current, and show you every fetch: there is no file for you to author and nothing to maintain. Verification is a label agents can filter for, never a ranking boost, because an index whose position can be bought is worthless to the agents reading it, and worthless indexes do not send customers.
Your product, inside your customers' agents
Here is the part that does not depend on how big our directory is. Your install base is your customer base. Connect your product through Wellknown and every customer who links their account gets your product inside their agent: your features, their account, their agent asking. When their agent needs what you sell, you are already there, first.
Their agent can also answer "do I have access to this?" with a yes and your tools, or a no and your signup page. Either answer is good for you.
Send your users one link
Every connected service gets a ready-made page that walks its users through the one-time setup, with your name on it and your account-linking step built in. Put it in your app, your docs, your onboarding email:
https://wellknownhq.com/start?from=YOURDOMAIN
Badge for your site or README, linking there:
<a href="https://wellknownhq.com/start?from=YOURDOMAIN"> <img src="https://wellknownhq.com/badge/connect.svg" alt="Works in your agent"> </a>
Setup is once per user, ever: a user who arrives already set up just links your account and is done. You can see what your link produced, credited to your domain, whenever you ask.
You will know exactly what it got you
We report what actually happened, per publisher: how many searches surfaced you, what was asked, who opened your listing, who followed through and connected. The same numbers we publish about ourselves at /metrics.json, zeros included. No other directory will show you its own demand, which should tell you something about the demand.
Why be early, honestly
The directory is young and we say so on every page. The reasons to list anyway, in order of hardness: your customers' agents work today and need no network at all; the measurement tells you where you stand while it costs nothing to fix; and listings accrue history and verification, which is what agents will filter by when the traffic arrives. What we will not do is charge you for position, ever, so being early buys standing rather than placement.
The numbers behind this
Agents look things up at the moment of need now. Almost nothing is findable, including most companies already building for agents. Measured, continuously:
| Across 4,944 businesses already building for agents | |
|---|---|
| Findable by an agent | 36 of 4,944 |
| One step short: machine-readable, but not where agents look | 118 |
| Cannot be found by an agent at all | 4,908 99.27% |
Not a sample: every business we could find that proved it owns its domain and already publishes something for agents to use, checked everywhere an agent would look, 13 August 2026.
| And across 45 major domains, chosen rather than found | |
|---|---|
| Findable by an agent | 5 of 45 |
| Partly machine-readable, in incompatible shapes | 5 |
| Run a directory of their own | 0 |
This cohort includes the organisations that wrote the standards agents use to look, so it answers whether even the authors are findable. Re-measured every Monday; it moves when the web does.
Start with the measurement
You cannot fix what you cannot see, and nobody else will tell you this number.
