Why bother
Without it, your identity in any registry rests on domain control alone, which is a weak claim: it transfers with a lapsed registration or a compromised DNS record. The specification supports signed attestations but mandates none, so in practice "verified publisher" means very little across the ecosystem today.

Verification is filterable, never a ranking input. An unverified entry is not pushed down for being unverified, and no amount of verification buys position.
